Team up with BFW to support a high-visibility cultural platform that drives local economic activity, direct community engagement, and measurable sponsor exposure during San José State University Homecoming Weekend.

BFW offers sponsors a more strategic opportunity than a one-off event activation. Sponsors can support a structured weekend platform with multiple audience touchpoints, including live performing arts, hospitality experiences, scholarship impact, and digital amplification. This creates stronger recall, clearer positioning, and better alignment with corporate social responsibility, community engagement, and brand activation goals.

Sponsor Tiers (Non tax-deductible - quid pro quo)

• Presenting Sponsor — $25,000: Full platform visibility across Black Family Weekend programming, communications, and sponsor recognition

• Tailgate Sponsor — $15,000: High-traffic engagement opportunity tied to the Homecoming Tailgate Experience.

• Stepshow Program Sponsor — $20,000: Signature support for the Step Show Performing Arts Program and associated performance visibility. Partial sponsorship amounts may also be aligned to specific program components with scaled recognition.*

• Production Sponsor — $5,000: Supports execution infrastructure and production quality.

• Supporting Sponsor - $2,500: General advertising at each BFW sponsored event

• Teammate Sponsorship - $250: limited branding with sponsor honoring BFW weekend passes at discounted price to their event SJSU homecoming event.

*Performing Arts Awards Fund (Stepshow Program) Sponsorship.

The Performing Arts Awards Fund is a restricted component of the Stepshow Program and supports two First Place awards: $10,000 for Men’s Division and $10,000 for Women’s Division. Sponsors may support this fund through program-aligned giving, defined sponsorship tiers, or partial/custom sponsorship amounts aligned to a specific division or general awards support. Naming rights and expanded visibility may be attached where sponsorship benefits are included.
